"Studio In Motion": The Little Mobile Hair Salon Parked On Court Street

Have you ever noticed the 'Studio In Motion' truck parked in Carroll Gardens?   Every Friday and Saturday, the mobile full service hair salon is stationed on Court Street at the corner of First Place.   Its owner, Caroline Destefano  welcomes clients in her small but efficient space for haircuts, color, hi-lights, blowouts and make up.
The prices are lower than in some of this neighborhood's brick and mortar hair salons.  Haircuts, including wash and blowout start at $35 for women, $20 for men, and $25 for kids.
Single process hair color is $50, highlights start at $75.  The salon also offers some very reasonably priced packages.
When I stopped by a few days ago to peek inside the truck, Caroline told me that she has been bringing her truck to Carroll Gardens since last summer.  The rest of the time, she parks it in different neighborhoods in Staten Island.
Caroline is super friendly so don't hesitate to stop in.  She accepts walk-ins.
